The Coast of Oaxaca is a world famous surf spot for it’s huge waves. Mazunte is the hippier alternative to the more touristy Oaxacan coast spots like Puerto Escondido (surf focused) and Zipolite (lie on the beach and/or drink focused). But it also has local flavor and awesome beaches that are definitely worth exploring
