Costa Rica means rich coast. At first I was thinking of initiating my rich coastal times in Jaco. But upon further research i found out that this was Costa Rica’s tourist meca and that it was priced accordingly. Maybe not then. I then heard about Uvita which was far less popular but still very rich as far as coasts go. But getting there wasn’t going to be easy. I would have to bicycle over ”Cerro de la Muerte” (The mountain of death)
After biting the bullet on a somewhat expensive little cabin for the night, I was going to make the most of the situation. My stay included free access to the Los Quetzales National Park so I got up nice and early to do some pre-biking hiking
