I find bicycle touring to very much be about the journey and not the destination. If you’re lucky, you experience ups and downs (literally and emotionally) and learn things that make you a better person and bicycle tourer. Some lessons were definitely learned in Southern Ecuador

Some people say everything happens for a reason. If it wasn’t for what at the time felt like unfortunate circumstances, I would never have truly experienced Southern Ecuador’s cloud forest environment and its flying inhabitants
