Peru is probably in my top 2. I’ve loved this country’s breathtaking mountain scenery, delicious food and kind souls. I was feeling a mystical ambiance as I was getting closer and closer to Bolivia, South America’s most indigenous country. I was ready for my last dance with Peru. I had a feeling it would be full of adventure and surprises as they all had been so far
I was lucky enough to arrive in Puno during the Virgen de la Candelaria festival. A festival that celebrates the different indigenous tribes of this part of the world. I don’t think I could have imagined a better scene for my transition into Bolivia
