I had seen Copacabana; Bolivia’s touristy (as touristy as things get in Bolivia) beach town. I had seen La Paz, which was impressive for its modernity. But given that Bolivia is Latin America’s most indigenous country, I knew I hadn’t seen the real Bolivia yet

 

 

I enjoyed Bolivia’s mystical vibes throughout my time here. But historical context is always a key puzzle piece in my thoughts and feelings about a country. No better place to lay that last piece than Potosi. This was once the richest city in South America
